Getting through to the engine bay from inside

Basically ive got my gauges to wire in. I cant seem to get into the headlight nuit next to steering wheel and dont fancy damaging it getting it out. I need to wire the lightingup for them plus the vacuum hose etc for the gauge.

Can anyone tell me where to get through the firewall in the car into the engine bay, couldnt find it at all the other day, mind you it was 5pm and getting dark.

Read this, step 2 explains it and it worked for me to, tricky little job though.
