God damn clutch pedal

on the way home from work and the clutch pedal hit the floor, i know this is a common fault and needs rewelding etc but do you think something like chemical metal would be strong enough ?

try it and see mate.. whats the worst that can happen.. you either have to take it to a mechanic and get it welded.. or get a new pedal.

i have used that chemical metal before.. its fantastic stuff.

yea i think ill give it a whirl see what hapens, i wont be getting a new pedal ill just get it welded if this doesnt work just thought i mite aswell try an alternative who knows it might work and save other people alot of time and money lol

if bonded steel cant do it im sure that stuff wont but hey anythings worth a go

chemical metal wont work! you need to take pedal off and weld it all round not jus tacked.

trust me, have it welded on the car, i took it off and it was the worst thing i ever could of done, pain in the arse, especially to reasemable

drill, bolt, locknut.... jobs a good'un!

get it off and re wellded , i had mine off , welded and refittd in 3 hours easy peasey. Pain in the arse though having to rectify a seat f**k up
