Golf AGG engine ECU

Anyone know if the ECU for a Golf AGG engine would work in an Ibiza with the same engine code please? Part numbers are 037 906 025 R for the Golf and 6K0 906 025D for the Ibiza.

i think if the first 6 numbers/letter are the same it works but not 100% sure on that.

yep it works, thats what my ibiza has in it now.... it also cured my 5k rpm limit, and it was free

it has to be seimens simos ecu and the bosch number on mine was the same apart from the last 3 numbers. also you will have to programme the immo in with vagcom, but it is simples
