Good price for a Leon Cupra TDi...

Its a 2003 53 plate LC TDi in the grey colour. Totally standard, 96k with 8 SEAT stamps and 1 independant. MOT until Nov and taxed until next feb. one tiny crease on edge of bonnet about 2" long, and a jacking point cover missing. He oringinally wanted £5300 for it but says i can have it for £4800. The prices of these TDi's are so hard to predict im just abit worried im gonna end up paying too much!

Any help and examples of what you lot have paid would be appreciated!

Get him to put a fresh MOT on and bite his hand off...

I take it, it had a cam belt change at 80k?

Yea documented cambelt change at 82k, new water pump also. He said its also had the alternator overhauled?

Cool, sounds like a good deal... maybe beat him down a bit as their is a short MOT... or get him to put it through the MOT. As could get lumbered with a nice bill to put it through an MOT... although not likely.

These TDi engines are pretty bomb proof if well looked after... nearly all SEAT services.

Sounds good to me if you get him to MOT it.... (you can MOT them early, I made the garage put mine through before I bought it)

i just brought a 54 plate with 30"000 for 7 grand if that helps
