Today I said goodbye to four and a half years of the most wonderful years of owning my Cupra.

She had done a little over 52000 miles and was just the best car I have ever owned.

She got picked up by her new owner today, a really nice guy from Devon who flew up with his fantastic Gran.

I know she is going to be very well looked after.

I have to confess that I did cry as she started to pulling out of my drive for the very last time!!

Here are some pics in tribute to her - took them last weekend.

I know, I'm sure the FR will bring the grin back, but just loved the Cupra so much. The MK3 Cupras I think still look so special.

I think I was mourning yesterday afternoon as I just wondered around doing not very much. All that for just a lump of metal, plastic, rubber and glass!

Daff as my Cupra was known, has gone to a really nice home though so that makes it better.

I saw this car on the m9 passing Grangemouth the other week it looked great!

That is my daily commute! Wow, don't think I have ever been spotted!

Thanks for the compliment - has helped cheer me up!

Ta.

Also heard a short time ago that my wee car had made it down to Devon safe and sound!

I guess that was me then - 52 plate and all!

Hope she was clean and not looking like a brown banana! With a daily 43 mile commute, she didn't look great by the end of each week!!
