Fair enough it isnt an actual evo cooler but the inlet/outlet is angled in exactly the same way the evo one is.

People may as well just buy an Evo cooler

lol, its alot more scientific than outlets look the same lol, you would be surprised that moving something 5ml i.e. an outlet up 5 mill or and end tank 5ml bigger on one side throws everything out.

Length and depth of core is crucial to it fitting and not fitting,

Lol Can tell you havent tried fitting one before cause its an absolute Biatch of a job!!!!

Some very interesting ideas and info. Good thread.

I'm liking the look of your's Andy, definetly the style id prefer as I want to keep my grille and keep pipework to a minimum (standard position) as I want to keep my engine cover. Basically I want it to keep it looking as stock as possible but get the benefits of a front mount.

It not an EVO look alike... curve end tanks and internal "features" for better airflow distribution were an evolution from the original AM one. Bigger for Addo and my IHI'd motor and version 2 on mine after a couple of mods.

Works fine on mine still. 400bhp worth of high boost airflow. (and I mean high boost!)

i think the reason we are going for a custom FMIC, is to get the price down. I cannot afford 700 quid on an intercooler put it that way.
