Hooch that is amazing.

I remember mine didn't look great on video too, but yours really does, looks immense.

Looks like a well sorted motor, you should be a very very proud boy. :)

Damn! That is mental!
Great build hooch, hats off to u mate!

You need to get the cameraman out the car and get 'ur mate' to do some drive bys!

you are selling it after all that work and about '15' mins of driving pleasure from it!!!???:-o

Hooch
How much boost is it holding at 7000, or 7500rpm?
I'm sure you've said, but re reading 60 pages will take a while.
Ta.
john,it's good to know a gt3071r is making 460bhp,looks promising for our new set ups;)

i was running about 29psi. since changing to the new dv setup its seeing 25psi and holding.

also caney its quicker t han before so i want it on the dyno soon :)
need map tweeking to suit. would like to speak to quattronics as i would like to see it they can do a good of a job as it was claim from day one. now that there is no issues there is no excuse. still got lean idle tho.

HoocH

tbh i cant comment. pretty scary trying to look at a boost guage and hang on, so trying to go by what jp told me when he was my guage watcher. but was well over a month ago

Video looks mental of your mates car ;) LMAO, Paradas! Same here, great on a day like today, wheel spin off boost!

Get the map tweaked and get it dynod, im interested to see how its running, the 0.83 AR turbo im using is no where near as laggy as i expected, but i think the 2.0 has helped that a lot. No surge either when running 1.3-4bar flat. Will see what happens later when i wind it up more.

Just moving house, so will hopefully get it mapped in the next month or so and then get it on the rollers :D

just whipped out my gearbox as me and alex (backdraft) were talking about cryogenic treaments.

after getting a price we both pulled our boxes out/apart.

so in the next week or 2 we will be running our 'strengthend' boxes.
lets so how good it really is.

this was mentioned many moons ago by pdcupra :D:D

video looks good mate! you doing any gearing alterations when its all apart?

maybe loose some top end and make it an even more 1/4 mile weapon

im keeping it all as it is but just freezing it all. im hoping to sell it soon but want to have it all ready for new owner. gearbox is a worry so cryogenically freezing it may help in the sale!

junior.....had one a long long time ago. back in the k04 days

Though as much, no stone unturned by you

Good effort, still surprised your not keeping it.
Don't you not think you are just throwing money away doing more stuff to the car because you won't get this money back.
I do know it's not all about money but it has to be a consideration

nice to know i have been some help to you and alex :)
we now often use them in our Lambretta's - allows box's designed to take 7-10bhp to take 40-50bhp and we are still yet to have a problem with them!
I take it your using Frozen Solid?
The car looks awesome by the way, a real credit to you mate.
