Hi guys,

Hoping I can get some advice.

Im about to fit a GTD2060vz turbo and wondered what size silicone adaptor is needed to fit the existing PD150 turbo inlet pipe.

Also looking into BC racing coilovers and wanted to see if anyone had any feedback on them from owning and living with them on a Mk1 Leon, KW v1 coilovers or similar is my other option.

Many thanks in advance.

I have BC Racing coilovers.
BR series as per the TT.
I like them and the build looks decent.
They do end up pretty low
Seem to be a short setup.
On road on factory settings they are perfectly respectable on poor roads.
Not crashy. Or thump thump.
But they are firm.
On track they changed the car dramatically from standard setup.
Body roll almost gone.
I was impressed for the money.
There are people that have done 60k on them without fault.
Afraid that isn’t the case with me.
First my rear shock failed in May which I replaced.
Then a month ago my front shock failed.
Apex performance/ BC said I was just unlucky and had no reason.
I have bought a front shock going on this week.
I’ve only done about 7k and 600 track miles from new.
I don’t think I’ll be buying any more replacements if they fail again. Then onto KW V2 or Gaz Gold.
Lastly if you want to adjust the stiffness at rear it’s a complete faf and can’t be done while car is sat normally.
Hope that helps mate.

Thank you mate, I really appreciate the reply and feedback on them, I have Bilstein B4’s and Eibach springs but it’s just too got too much bounce/recoil in the setup and doesn’t settle quickly after a slight change/bump in the road which is quite off putting for sprinted driving. Hopefully I’ll have a good experience with them, like you say for the money they are meant to be good. Thanks again!
