It should be in your manual. Anyways, it couldnt be any simpler than unplugging the coil packs, pulling it out and unscrewing the plug. Reverse and repeat for the rest of the 3 coilpacks

Just pull it out, it might stick a bit, but they should come off with a little bit of force. Best to change coil packs in fours, as they are prone to fail (for what i've read). There was a recall a while ago, ring up a dealer and ask if yours have been swapped, if not, they will be swapped under warranty (for free!).

Just unplug the wiring and pull it up
Cylinders 3 & 4 require removal of the N249 vac resovoir and the metal bracket that holds it
Often with mapped cars when one coil dies the others swiftly follow it

The coilpacks aren't something that go all the time, hence change all 4 when they do go.

For reference im still on my original on a nearly 7 year old car

Sent from my iPhone when I should be working....

Should ring the dealer and check see if your car needs the recall for coil packs, I did and got all 4 changed free of charge :) worth a shot if it's not gonna cost you anything

Its a 04 plate and remapped so its proberbly just age and heat that the coil went, are they recalling cars with this problem then?

I just asked when I was at the dealers collecting a part if there was any outstanding recalls on the car? Long shot but still if you dont ask you dont get? Mines 2003 and only had it done two weeks ago, they just change the coil packs, they dont ask if it's been mapped of out, well my garage dint anyway.
