Just had a look in the boot - and there is a screwdriver lol - didn't notice it yesterday !!!

That's over 50% of the circumference!
Yes there is a screwdriver in with the gubbins in the spare wheel and I use that to pull the centre cap off although it's not ideal. Just poke it in the hole provided and give it a good tug
haha - where is that located in respect to the foam insert thingy where the jack & wheel brace etc are

Im guessing it could have been a puncture to start with but then as you didnt notice and carried on driving it might have ripped through and made it that bad ?

its just sort of slipped into one of the very slim slots in the big round foam thing on top of the spare wheel.
Have you thought about Nitrogen in your Tires?
Due to air leaking out quicker than nitrogen, i've been putting nitrogen in my tires for a few years now.
Keeps the tire inflated at the correct pressure for longer.

i have a FR petrol, and i have a full tool kit with a full size steely
The LCR's have a full size alloy spare as a steely won't fit over the Brembo's
