Now the car shakes alot when i try and creep forward on the clutch!

is this normal?

moment i whack some throttle in it goes away.

im 98% sure this is fine just checking tbh.

the standard dogbone mount will have softer rubber than upgraded mounts.
You therefore get more vibration.

From what i have read, for many it starts off bad then reduces with a bit of use.

Other people have said they have changed 1 rubber rather than the usual 2 that are changed to get a compromise.

from what i understand, if you go for changing the rubber rather than buying a whole mount it can be a bit worse.

Hi
I must admit , most people say that it does take time to bed in
So give it a bit of time
Any issues after a hundred or so miles , some people do what already has been said , replace one of the bushes with the standard one
Fingers crossed , but should be OK after a while
Sarah

if the bushes have been clamped withthe right torque the vibration shouldn't be too bad after a while. It never goes away completely though with the poly bushes.

it will be bad at first but will soon wear in, also need to check the tightening torque of the bushes because too tight and it will vibrate too much

second that, it will get better, eventually.i also increased my idle speed to stop the vibrations on standstill.
Stick with it tough, its worth it.

Storm Developments fitted it, I had a service today and the original mount was worn down, so he said he had some powerflex ones, i read on here they were nice so i went for it.

seems to be getting a bit better i did 70 miles on it today he said anywhere between 300 and 500 and it should bed in.

but 70k service + Dog mount all parts fitting and vat = 175 pounds :)

pretty chuffed with that tbh.

I fitted my dog bone bushes the wrong way round, had bad vibrations, but soon as I switched them round it was much better. Something to consider if it doesn't get better.

i fitted ths dogbone mount, absolutly no cabin vibrations, much stiffer bush than oem, and vastly inproved.
id check torque settings to see if theyve torqued properly.
