has anyone got Starfish alloys in black

hi there thinking about getting my alloys sprayed a matt black but not sure what thay would look like has anyone had theres sprayed if so can i see any pics! thanx

no is the short answer,but look at boomhauers black lcr with black wheels..(next to mine) might help a bit to give you a idea...cheers

The yellow cars do look good with black wheels. Imho tho I'm not sure it would suit that style of wheel. Because its inwardly dished rather than slab sided like the cupra r style wheel it just doesnt look as big because the spokes dont extend to the edge of the wheel. I think it may look a bit lost in black.
However each to there own and I'm not knocking the idea, why dont you request a photoshop, theres a few on here who are pretty handy with that prog.

Yeah they look quite smart - didn't think they would!
I think the lip is helping here though, as much as I love black wheels I'm not sure if they'd look as good without the lip.

Photoshop is your best bet to help you decide.

I think the only way those wheels would look good black is if they have the rim silver to make them stand out (like above). Otherwise they will get lost and you won't be able to see the wheels from the tyres.

thanx for all your comments maybe a gun metal gray or somthing maybe better or maybe just keep the old girls silver! just thought id try something different rather then black cupra r alloys!!

Despite my earlier comments about them looking lost, the photo of them in black with the silver edge does look good.
