Manual covers the ABF. Most areas are the same for all models, engine components and sensors have there own location notes in brackets like (sensor for ABF engine located to the rigt of inlet manifold). The pictures are mainly from the 1.4 but certainly helps

oh right nice one mate, if you could have a look in there regarding the rear brake discs. I bought some rear discs went to fit them today and the existing ones had a bearing and abs rings on the back. I cant seem to remove them off the existing ones onto the new ones and thought that the haynes manual would be the best to find out how. help appreciated thanks alot.

Nothing in haynes that can help you there mate, the only note in removal and refitting rear disc is

15. slacken and remove the rear hub nut, then slide off the toothed washer and remove the outer bearing from the centre of the disc.

in abs section it is really helpful and reads:

Rear reluctor rings

21. The rear reluctor rings are pressed onto the inside of the rear drum/disc. If removal is necessary, remove the drum/disc and take it to a seat dealer, who will have access to the necessary tools required to extract the old ringand press on the new one.

Good ol' haynes

ok mate thanks alot for looking atleast i know now. do you think i have been sold the wrong discs? should my new discs have come with the abs rings?

without on all the ones i have seen

lever off your old ones (gently) and clip em to the new ones
