Head Gasket Prices

got it back yesterday and i saw shocked to see that they didnt even change the oil
looks like im doing that today so going to get the filter, flush and oil soon....
also my starter has been iffy on my car for ages now, but it worked fine yesterday when i got it home and started straight away and the rev needle went to 1k fine, but then the car just cut out
it took ages for it to start again, it didnt want to pick up and i was giving it a little bit of gas when it was just about to start, but then it would do the same and cut out again, almost like there was no fuel getting to it or something? i dont know if thats whats wrong it just seemed like that... it done it again later on when i parked at tesco and went back to start my car
anyone know whats going on? you think it could have anything to do with the "mayo oil"?

oil change is worrying mind you if they forgot that they probably forgot to plug all the sensors back in so that might cause you running problems

i said to them how come you didnt do an oil change, they just said we dont do that when we do a head gasket
anyway i changed it myself yesterday, got a new air filter too since oil and gunk was getting in from the oil breather pipe... anyway it seems to be running okay now, it hasnt cut out again so hopefully its okay
i was lookin at other threads quickly yesterday before i changed my oil, needed to get it done before it rained lol but i could only find that the 2.0ltr takes 3.5ltrs of oil, ive got about 3 in mine as its close to the full mark on the dip stick, is it only 3 ltrs on the 1.4? im goin to check it after my little run out 2night anyway, just wondering how much there needs to be in there?
