headunit change

Hi, I'm new on here and I am thinking about getting a MK3 Ibiza Cupra .

The only real sticking point for me though is the stereo. Has anyone been able to fit an aftermarket headunit in the same place as the original or is this impossible as it looks to be one whole piece

If you have managed to change it some pic would be great.

Not impossible no but it's expensive as it's a lot of work.

Thanks for the reply Icecavern. I really like the ideas in the links they don't look like to much work and are quite effective.

You may of just convinced me to part with my Impreza for a Cupra.
