Headunit will not switch off HELP!

Please can someone help me I bought a ibiza m3 today, oh yesss.....

anyways i cant get the headunit to switch off when car is switched off and locked????? Anyone help me im worried the battery will go flat overnight!! also there is a noise coming from the engine like a fan noise??

The noise from the engine is the cooling pump feeding the turbo so when the engine is switched off the turbo is fed coolant around to cool it. Erm and as with the radio am sorry never came across this. Use the search option at the top of the mk3 page and try there. Glad youve got one loads of fun. And thousands of £££ modding it.

Join the club, seems these cars go wrong in batches lol. First it was plugs along eith 5 other cars, now its the head unit!

its the back ground red light that stays on mine all round the stereoand the climate control now it flickers all the tiime wen the ignitionis off ??????

I've heard of this quite a bit on the Mk3. I think it might have something to do with the ignition barrel. Does VAG-COM log any faults for the radio?
