Heat, Dust, Sand and Insects!

Hi everyone!
I just bought an Ibiza FR. our climate here is UAE in Summer is hot + 40C highly humid, sometimes sandy, plus I find alot of insects smashed and stuck to the grill of my car.
any advice on mods to preseve an optimum and clean working condition?!
I get lost in all of these topics arround mods and enhancements!

Some europeans put carbras on, which is a leather cover to protect your bonnet.

but I'm thinking more about engine performance! (Filters, induction kits, intercoolers..etc)
what is moresuitable for those conditions?! temp here sometimes midday reaches +45C.

on the fr the intercoolers is very small and in them conditions wont do much use. id say get a front mounted intercooler from either forge or the seat one thats on the cupras this will cool the air going from your turbo it the intake manifold alot better than the standard one. another mod you could do is a dynatwist induction kit this is a sealed induction kit with a cold air feed or you could buy the cupra tdi intake pip to the air box which is twice the size and then put in a performance filter

also a intercooler spray, think its called NOX (NOT NOS!) or something. drops charge temsp by like 5 or 10 degrees i have heard.

could do but might not work in such hot conditions as you have but i would try it and let us know if its any good
