Adam, I have had a go at doing the template, just waiting to get some Aluminium sheet then do a trial one.

Did you trial fit the template to get the correct height for the MAF hole?

not yet dude, gonna get the aluminium bent up to shape and then mark round the hole for the MAF and also spot through for the 2 holes that usually hold it to the airbox, then drill a couple of 6mm holes and bolt the MAF to the heat shield
