Heatshield under handbrake rattle...

Yeah trying to weld the heat sheild would be like a hot knife going through butter...

Glue though..?? got visions of the guy under there with a little bottle of superglue

glad you got it sorted though mate an anoying rattle is the worst thing

I had that vision too at first lol... Those small superglue things! But then im sure they used a metal glue i'd like to hope at least ha ha!

I think self-tappers probably are the best overall solution to this, but then it's finding the right size that doesn't pierce the car base too much.

You will soon no if he used somthing dodgy when you driving your car about and start getting high from the heated glue fumes...lol

Started up this morning, sounds so nice without the silly heatshield rattle! Restored my faith in some garages! It's STS in Braintree, they have a well nice waiting room as well!
