Heavy Juddering and lack of boost at 3000rpm

Hi,

I have a Cupra 1.8t with a AUQ 2003 and the problem is when you get to 3000rpm it hesitates almost like it has a soft cut off. If you back the power off the reapply the throttle it clears its worse from 3rd to 4th I have to quickly change to 5th and can carry on accelerating. It really frustrating when your head to head with a Saxo and the boost cuts at 3000rpm lol!

I have had the car on a VW Main dealer dianostic machine but it showed an accelerator pedal issue. Is there anything else it could be I have changed the MAF recently also.

boost leak sounds like, what was the fault code the vw machine showed?

maf could be the issue, did you fit it right, didnt touch the actual maf sensor...

try resetting the ecu see if it comes back?

could also be a coil issue, doesnt neccesarily show a code until there blown.

try unplugging the maf and running for a short distance, if its better then the maf is shagged.

maf or maybe a coil pack, thats what was happening to me. Coil pack.
