Hello! Introducing my 1998 toledo 1L sport 1.9 TDI AFN

Hello I'm from Croatia, third owner of the car, but I have full history and proper mileage printout , car was bought in 2021 locally from a collector (who had a kaddett gsi and purple c4 corvette) he sold it for a lack of space and wanted the car to have good life.

Originally I was driving a mk2 punto jtd but seat grew on me quickly and after punto had an accident it Was a no brainer to pick toledo as daily.

I've had a long journey with the car , if anyone wants to go down tuning route I did I got plenty of advice, and I hope to find some for things I can't seem to find , the tdi especially is getting rare in scrapyards now.

Otherwise even stock the car handled incredible on 185/50 r15 tires , it puts a smile on my face every day now, it's a proper car with some mods

Welcome to SCN, never had a Toledo but remember them back when I had Bizas, some more pics would be nice, and hope you keep the old girl on the road for many more years, enjoy.

Some more photos, much better quality too. Engine bay and chassis itself.

Also some issues, I have a wonderful body work guy who I got to know through dad and he loves classics. Owns a 50s Chevy 3100 and a yellow lt1 powered C4 corvette. He also knows a paintshop that does paint for a really fair price.

Car is probably going to need entire rear quarter panel cut from a donor, which luckily I found, but it's still a big job.

Interior could use work, leather on shifter and handbrake is worn, light doesn't look OEM but that's okay it just needs the switch and a new bulb in there. It's from a audi 80, second owner was a collector with a purple c4 and kadett gsi so he took care of the toledo well, and I'm continuing to do so. He said only reason he's selling it is lack of space and time.

I will post an updated engine bay pic when able, I found a oem equivalent turbo to inlet rubber hose so it looks better (and doesn't collapse under boost)

Ibizas seem really fun too, especially 6k2 GTI or TDI with 1.8T 20V or 1.9 TDI
