Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this. This morning I was checking my oil and coolant and started up the car only to notice that the engine was vibrating a lot more than normal. I was also hearing a knocking sound coming from, what seemed to be just behind the front wheels.

I didn't really think much of it at the time but when I got into the car and revved the engine the whole front of the car stated to vibrate and could feel it inside the cabin.

I'm not sure if something is broken or is it a good idea to drive it or should I just get it towed to the nearest Seat service centre.

Anyone got any ideas????

Thanks

I'd agree with it being a coilpack or rear lower engine mount, or both. Neither warrant a tow to the garage though. Just have a look under the car with the engine running, the engine mount is quite visible and you should be able to see whether it's moving excessively.
