It has felt like my car has less power for the last month or so, i thought maybe the maf was going again so i did some vag com logging and its flowing 188g/s on a 3rd 2000-6000 run.

is it the passive traction control sapping power to stop the wheeels actually spinning?

does anyone else feel like there car has less punch atm?

i can send my logs if someone knowswhat they are looking for?

cheers

no problems with my revo2 LC mate - feels as powerful as normal.
Did some logs about 2 weeks ago with my dealer when we were messing with my sps3 settings, and got airflow of about the same as yours TBH so dont think its that.....

yeah i dont really know how to describe it

its like when you accerlerate hard there is a delay between the pedal and the engine

or it boosts to peak but the car feels like its holding back

something like that

have you done all the usual TB clean, TBA/resets, checked your air filter is clean.. blah blah blah?

Might be worth a go if you havent.

I do find i have a bit more power from a standing start if i turn of TCS.. but other than that nothing different.

from looking at your logs your requested vs actual boost isnt too bad.....

Now I could be wrong here, but my dealer and I also log Group 20 Ignition Angle Delay to make sure all cylinders are running ok without any large delays appearing. Have you had a look at these?

lol - like I know :bleh:

From what i know you have to remove the TB - there is a gasket that people usually replace or something - and then remove any crud thats in the area. Then do an alignment on it. I got my dealer to do the TB clean for me a while back, although i think i need to learn how to do it at some point.....

I might check my air filter at the weekend - carbonio has been on a while now and probably needs a clean although its a bast*ard to get to....
Mind you, might try and remove some dents in my wing myself at the same time :(

I wasn't sure if I was imagining it or not, but my car seemed to be a bit hesitant or reluctantant to rev when the weather was really properly cold a couple of weeks back. Like you say a bit of a delay, although I noticed it too when revving the engine when stationary so couldn't have been TCS related. It's fine now though.
