Help - MAF problem?

Hi. Can any help me - I'm getting some cr*p missfire and the car struggles to reach 6000 revs in any gear... I've done a VAGCOM log and got the following. Anyone got any idea what's wrong? Should the MAF readings be higher? This is a run from 1500rpm to over 6000rpm in a single gear... The car's an A6 1.8T if it makes any difference

sounds like coils to me mate, in fact id bet money on it, although your maf readings are too low, but this could be a result of the misfire rather than a cause

Looks like MAF is goosed mate! Could be coil pack as well!

Does it tick over ok? Just underload feels like it's running on 3 cylinders?

MAF is giving some very strange readings, within 2 seconds it's reading 100 then 11 then 100, agree it looks sha99ed.

Any fault codes logged????

Your looking at the wrong column mate, go left one! Your looking at throttle angle as a percentage! 100% obviously = full throttle!

Yes, feels like it's on 3 cylinders when it happens - it REALLY struggles to reach 6000 rpm. Ticks over with no problems at all - perfectly stable...

I think the MAF's fecked but wanted a second opinion - it should be more like 140 ish on a 150hp engine shouldnt it?

In fact in 6 years driving various 1.8T's I've never had coilpacks go...plenty of MAF's and DV's though :think:

Eye, alreet ta. Heading for a big bill as I've just had the water pump, cam belt and a service done on the A6 lol!

How've you found the revo?

MAF readings are very low but if you're getting a misfire then like its been mentioned I'd suspect a coil pack.

ebay nooooooooooo don't do it mate, heard some bad things about MAFs from there. Just bite the bullet, get down to your veedub dealer and get one for £70 odd + VAT exchange and a 2 year warranty

ahh ok cool, does anyone know if which number coil packs seem to be the most reliable?? I know all mine were changed before I got the car so fingers crossed I've got the good ones

Look like a dodgy MAF to you? Maximum I get is 61g/s which for a 150hp car sounds like it's about half what it should be :wtf:
