Help my breaks have died!!!!

Hi all ive got a slight problem.... me and a mate just changed the rear disc's and pads of my cupra an i had to take the n/s rear caliper off to push the piston back in as it almost came out all the way, then i put it back on and bled the breaks all round got rid of the air and the i bled it with the engine running and they were a little better but my breaks all still not right can someone help me!!! thanks

You need to use a brake wind back tool for the rear calipers, else the piston can not be pushed back. This may be why you've got problems.

yeah ive done that fella ive bled the whole system and winded both pistons back the discs and pads are on....

Have you got any brakes?
You might have flipped the seals in the master cylinder if you never opened the bleed nipple whilst pushing the piston back.

ive got breaks but they are poo... i opened the bleed nipple on one but not on the other side but i left the break fluid resivor open when i changed the breaks....

The brakes wont be brilliant as you have new pads anyway, they take a while to bed into the disks.

there new discs too so i just got 2 give it time mate? have you got msn? i might need ya help again when i do something else....

Yeah can take a fair few miles 100 or more even, sorry don't do msn.
