Hi guys,
Engine management light on dash is lit up. Code on reader says P0118 Engine Coolant Temp Circuit High Input.
Have taken out the sensor(which was 2 pin and black) Seat dealer gave me another black 2 pin one Part Number is 06A-919-501A. just put this in and cancelled the light on dash. However it lit up again on dash when engine heated up when i drove home.
Have googled and lots pointed to using a 'Green' sensor which is new version of sensor.
these were for 1.8tdi cordoba on vw.votex website..
but was a 4 pin sensor Part number 059-919-501A. which obviously wont fit mine.
Anyone any ideas if another sensor would work and what part number it is or any other remedies to my prob?Is there a new green sensor avaiable that is 2 pin?
