like i said mate it starts and dies i have come across this befor and there is a guy in norwich who can fix , re- programme and build keys so not nessessarily a dealer job. plus if he gets one from scrappy will be expensive to programme it to his car :/ but i spose it will have to be one of the two
 
hi its adam again i no what you are all saying. acprding to a mobile locksmith i spoke to you can get a none dealer chip and code it . is the chip in theshaft part of the key ?
 
in the black part on the remote, standard key buried in handle too i presume?
may not be a dealer job as you say but it still a sunday night so the car won't be going anywhere fast

all i want to know is is it built inside the central locking key on or near the circuit board

its kinda inside i am trting to find a pic for you to give you a idea but ime not having much luck and the oh is out in my car
 
no, fits between key & fob, should be where on pic its shiny (side where the CE mark is)
