Hi just found the site on google and hope I am posting in the right section, hope someone can help me out with this! Currently drive a 2001 Ibiza Sport 1.6 and recently replaced the cat converter in it (well my dad) the car is still drinking a lot of fuel and was wondering what else would be making it do this? Anyone also know how many wires is on the exhaust probe?

i think they are three wire, but it may be a problem within the ECU or one of the sensors upside of the cat, it would be best to get a scan of the ECU via VAG-COM or similar to see what errors (if any) are coming up, a decent specialist will be able to help you (is there a REVO dealer in NI?) www.revotechnik.com they would be able to help you diagnose for a fee i would think

hi. have your emmisions checked and see if the lambda sensor is working.
