Well you'd probably both be dead or in intensive care by the sound of the violence involved in these attacks.

If you think pride and stuborness are worth more than your life then pick up that patetic maglight and take on those two guys with baseball bats. I'm sure you'll feel better for trying... For about 30seconds until the lights go out.

Not necessarily, with a smashed window, cuts etc.. you'd have a good explanation with regards to a pull, however the camera doesn't care and trip to court might be in order :D. I've heard of people let off for excuses less life threatening

But im sorry i would rather go for the speed camara or the cop even if it did have repocusions as im sure in a court of law there is always something that can be done to prove your inocence truth always provails

Thats a nice naive misguided view on this countries legal system ;)

Sounds a pretty scary set of events, but at the end of the day let them have the car if its getting that serious! To try and get away you obviously had to drive at speed etc what would have happened if you had taken out an innocent motorist or pedestrian?! Not really worth it when you look at it like that is it!

I know its not how it always happens but the law is not as bad as it seems from big lads experience and its tell tale signs im pretty sure he would have enough evidence to pro his case in court and im pretty sure it wont be the first time these guys have done this and useually people dont change their tactics if they work so the police are surely aware of it.

This was happening a bit up here in Glasgow City Centre, high end business cars, BMW 5, Merc E, Audi S's, anythin big and german was getting taken at knife/gun point, best advice of this in any situation is, don't leave anythin in the car with your details of address/name etc, if it ever happens hand the keys over and walk away, your insurance cover you, its theft!

Glad to hear your still good tho mate!
Just be carefull!

there's nothing saying getting the plates would do anything anyway as im sure they wouldn't be stupid enough to use lagit plates or their own cars

Make sure you report this to the police - even without the plate numbers the police may get lucky and spot some shifty looking characters driving around in two golfs and pull them if they know what to look for

oh yeah im sure thats the first thing he did i know would thats the first place i'd have headed for with them in persuit.

End of the day no one really knows how you would react until it actually happens to them. You've just got to make an educated decision on what to do

Well thats what i mean you can hardly go anywhere with out cctv cameras being close by or someone being a witness.

It is quite amazing how much information police can actually obtain about things like this big lad.

Mate, can you tell us what happened from start to finish, so we can at least learn from it and spot the tell tale signs

So here my story, Once upon a time!
It was late nite round 1030 coming back from sheesha cafe! (abit buzzed). drop mate off and came around, Just was heading toward a junction it was red lights. the road were practically dead!
looked in the mirror saw golf mk4 stooped behind me, ignored it as he must be waiting, but was curious he was abit close to rear bumper, then behind the 1st golf another black one appeared, over took and blocked my front end at a angle!
Big guy came out in a bala cova, with baseball bat, though sh*t!! :help:, press the lock button to lock em, he attmped to pull handle but no hope to open!
he then swung the bat and hit the driver side window, the whole glass just shattered on to me!
i then locked the steering wheel as i found gap for me sqeeze past! over took the golf infront on to on comming lane! On to main road, the golf behind began to follow me! , had long strech of race! with few monevers i mange to loose it but had to take side road home as they may be waiting for! Realised later my face was coverd in blood due to glass my eyes felt soar due glass dust!
Informed the police and then made way hospital to get glass removed and my eye examinded!

TH END!

The chase lasted few mins or so but like i said the golf were a diesel! if it was new GTI! would bee totaly different story!
