You can get them much cheaper than that, Ive seen some decent ones for £50/60.

Not too bad fitting, a lil fiddly but otherwise pretty easy.

Im sure this has been covered a lot, run a search on it and youll find lots of threads on where to buy them from to how to fit them. Done.

Just did hids4u pro+ kit found here: http://www.hids4u.co.uk/store/produc...age=1&featured

Which with discount code was about £85 delivered.

Definitely a front bumper off.. have something soft to rest it on as you do not need to take the spot light wires off if you just rest it on the ground.

Need 25mm hole cutter.. I used 22mm flat wood work cutter... but you really wanted a 28mm one to let you get one connector through.. so I ended up taking the connector apart to get it through the 22mm hole.

Posh expensive packaging, adequate product. Took them a week to deliver! Best to stick Ballast boxes on inside of inner wings with double sided tape pad provided after cleaning with thinners etc. Not sure I like the light that much (wanted 4700k but ended up with 6000k which is the "posh" blue lights instead of the more yellow "standard" but better light). While in there I did main beam upgrade too = Osram Night Breaker which are better by a fair bit. http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_detail.asp?prod=115
I did run a single Philips X-Treme Power H7 for a day or two with a miss aimed beam and did not see great changes from OEM.

Oh .. be gentle when taking dip beam out if still in car.. I managed to get it to run off the adjuster screw until it hit the front cover!.. and I was not being that rough.

I got mine off ebay from seller jam_performance IIRC! No problems with mine atall! Think I paid around the £60 mark.
Yeh they did make a difference... I can actually see in the dark now  need to get them aligned I think though. Fitting was a piece of cake for me - there's only a hamster and his wheel under my bonnet! IIRC if you have a TDI then bumper off is the suggestion - unless you have tiddly hands?

Have got pictures of them on my car but they are still on my phone! The total cost was £166 in the end after i put a discount code in. Managed to fit them with ease and not take the bumper off at all!! Did have an issue with one of the ballast boxes, but was quickly sorted out and managed to fit the new ballast box on my lunch at work in my work car park in 15 mins!!
