HID Fitting- Ballast Location?

Hi guys right my HID's came today and going to fit them tomorrow

Just had a quick look at where I have to put the hole for cables but where is the best place to mount the ballast?

Any ideas would be great

just tie wrap them in mate, shud do the trik.

Where though seems very tight at the drivers side with friggin watering can in the way.

Is it just a case of finding a spare hole in body and cabe tying it to that?

Take the headlights off to do it, then you can strap them to the beam underneath.

Yeah I took both the headlights off and the front bumper as well, made access loads easier. Rather than cable tying to the beams though i stuck the metal mount that comes with them to the beam first using araldite (need to clean the beams up well first) and then just slotted the ballast into the mount.

If i remember correctly there's a handy thread on the beam to attach then metal holder to?!

Obviously my 1.4 has more space.
1 is lying just directly under the black light cover ( drivers side )
Then the other is stuck to the battery. And I mean STUCK with number plate sticky pads lol

Both havent moved since !
