I've got a replacement ballast coming, shipped almost 2 weeks ago, been sat at customs since Sunday 16th. Several calls to customs saying stuff from China is taking a week to clear (due to all the knock off fakes of shoes etc coming in) at the moment and to just keep checking the Parcelforce website that will be updated once its released. just finished fitting them, although i could do with some industrial strength velcro pads for the mounting of the ballasts
the one i bought came with side lights, which is annoying as i've bought a pair of LED side lights seperatley.
but good as spares i guess
the mod was very simple, i used a 20mm drill bit, and i have a dremel thing which i used to widen the hole (more of an oval shape to fit plug through gap)
i'm very pleased with the outcome, the full beams look less bright in comparison which is slightly worrying as i dont want to blind people, i think i'll get the alignment checked when i get chance.
