HID Problem

Fitted my Hids the other day and they where spot on everything fine

Come to start car tonight and then turn them on and only one came on :( so then i turned car off and lifted bonnet to see if anything was loose ,Nothing was so i thought id try again

turned lights on and now Both of them dont work :cry:

any suggestions??

ive checked fuses and there all fine,Bulbs look fine aswell

btw its a Diane shop 6000k h7 set if that makes any difference

Low battery voltage can cause an HID ballast (silver box) to fail to spark up the HID. Was it the passenger side one that wouldn't spark up? Mine has done this and It was deffo to do with the battery being low (interior light left on over night)

Maybe the ballasts draw more current than the 15 amp fuses can handle, the headlamps are fused indipendantly BTW.

If the ballasts have failed.................Oh well, you get what you pay for.

yep everything was wired as per instructions and the lad who fitted them has fitted them on his LCR and several other LCR's wihout any problems

Redone all the wireing ,I also fitted my old standard bulbs and they work fine so either the bulbs have gone or its the ballasts :(

which i wudnt expect after 2 days
