You wont be disappointed...I've got 4300k on both dipped & main beam bulbs (H7 & H1).

The 4300k are a brilliant white, an with the H1's as well it's like driving in daylight on the back lanes in the dark.

A friend has 6000k on his MX-6 and they're a nice colour, slight blue tint, but nothing obvious!

Yup, but only if you want both dipped beam (normal driving) and high beam (flash / full beam)

There is a litle bit of modification required if you go for the H1's as well, but TBH the H7's are more than enough!!

I'd strongly recommend just buying the H7's for the main driving beam to start with, as you may find you don't need or want the full beams as well, as the H7's are enough. Depends on your driving though

Check out the HID FAQ post at the top of this forum, as there is a lot of info in there. I posted a fitting guide that should help you out, which includes pictures.

yup i used Robs fitting guide, it was excellent....didn't self tap the passenger side in, bent the ballast down off the wing nut!

great work and took about 2hrs all in!

I've contemplated changing the location of the ballasts a number of times... so the one thing I'd say about the HID guide I made is use the locations as a guide and see if there is anywhere else you can find to put them. You may decide to use the same as mine... you may not. It's all good

i used the same as ur drivers side...but it flaps about a bit as the metal bracket is quite flimsy....

the other one looks good bent under the wing between battery and wing!

It's the drivers side one that I'd change TBH, the passenger side is nice and secure against the wing, that's not going anywhere! Even with a larger diameter air intake beneath it, it's a great fit.

Pretty much pure white.

There's a tiny hint of blue as they warm up after you switch them on, but then white white white.

It's really nice for the back lanes, but for visual appeal a touch of blue is good!

I'll be keeping the 4k bulbs for the main beam tho.

yeah would like the lower temp to give more visibilty but would like a nice tinge of blue for the look so hopefully 6k is spot on.............i know i will never say i wish i went higher.
