So then!*

Had my new dumpvalve through from Dave at Sere Motors today (super quick posting and great prices - fully recommended!), and me being me, I had to fit it as soon as I got home from work, despite the awesomely **** weather!*

So, first of all, need to locate the valve. It's in the middle left of this picture:*

The valve is held in by 3 T30 torx bolts. Easy to take out, but make sure you don't drop them down into the engine bay!!*
Take the bolts out, and unclip the sensor on the side of the valve. Easy!*

On inspection of the old valve, I can easily push the 'plunger' in, and it doesn't pop back out very quickly like I imagined it to. Clearly not right!*

Went out to take it for a spin, and it's actually like I've got a new car! Pulls so much better, and feels really responsive on and off throttle. Can't believe SEAT didn't put these in the cars from the start!*

All ready for the remap now (hopefully)!*
 
The revision D is a good piece of kit. The Cupra becomes a different animal once mapped so be prepared to keep on modding :D

Well my handling mods are almost sorted bar the engine mounts, just want the map on now! :D

Blade, is that a carbon wrap on your roof? Any good? Was looking at some for the interior bits for mine.

When i get mine back it will be like a new car. Getting the BSH side mounts fitted and the THS lower mount fitted so will advise on those when i get the car back which wont be for at least till next weekend :cry:

Also some eibach coillies and autotech arbs and a decat downpipe as my milly has bent completely :-o, so should be an interesting drive home :D. Then will be taking it to Dave at PDTuning to optomise the map for the decat and kick Blades @rse at the next rr day lol!

Yeh herd the decat was a most for no lag and a better top end so should be a good battle.

Reason im taking it to dave is to finaly get to the bottom of the overfueling issue it always seems to have ;).

So he can get inside the Revo code........ or is he just going to use the select+ gizmo?

Awesome mate, let me know how you get on with the mounts.

Really want a new exhaust, will have to be next year now though I think :(.

Just do some logs i guess and change the settings but he is a revo dealer so maybe and might get that new map you have on with the throttle response thingy.
