I have just fitted my grill onto my Altra FR TDI and have to say it looks great, I was a little bit worried about trying to take the old one out but it only took 20mins. I put a bit of 2mm plastic between the grill and bumper (on the side) and then used a couple of flat bladed screwdrivers to free the side clips using more force than I thought would be needed but with the plastic protecting the bumper there was no chance of damaging the paintwork.

Is this what you're after Dave ? This is a red Linea R spec edition version of the FR (..why the grille is called a Linea R)

Jay, should fit any Leon as the grill size is the same, unless it's the facelift model which is different.

Here's a pic of mine.
I prised the black trim from the cupra grill, to replace the brushed alluminium of the Linea R grill.
Takes a bit of patience, as there are loads of clips that are very brittle.

now looking at that im not sure now, it looks like its just been dropped in to the surround, i think id be looking at cutting the fins out of the back and dropping the linea grill mesh ferther back from the surround so it doesnt look as flush as it does in that pic
