Hey guys , I have a terrible engine noise couple weeks ago it started in the morning but after 30 seconds into driving it the noise would stop it sounded like a noises tappet but the whole car was shuddering , I then done an oil and filter change too see if it would help but it still done it every now and again well last night the noise didn't go away and still carried on knocking this morning when I was putting it under load it gets worse and when the revs increase it gets faster also when I am accelerating it feels like it is missing and the noise it's horrendous loud as anything .. In work today I cleaned the egr valve out to make sure it's seating correctly then I blanked it off. I also carried out a compression test , all okay, no faults logged with the car either using vag com, when I remove the inter cooler pipe which connects to the egr valve there's a pulsing / thumping out like its missing , also it's thumping from the exhaust too I feel it pulsing I replaced the flywheel not so long ago as well, sorry for the long essay
