horrible noise when cornering

Hi guys and girls,

Was at my local race track having a bit of fun with the lcr, and noticed that my car was making the most god aweful noise when going fast round corners, not the usual tyres screaming or anything, it was like a metalic almost sound, like metal against the tarmac...
I then noticed yesterday that my frnt right tyre is nearing legal limit, while my other 3 are perfectly ok...
the squeling sound was especially bad on the right side, anyone have any ideas what it could be? (no im not down to metal canvas before anyone asks)

Get the tracking checked. Jack the wheel up and check the wheel bearing.

I'm sure others will have more ideas.

any one else have any oppinions chaps? only had the garage have a look at it a while ago, and he said it was brilliant mechanically. not any problems. i think i best go get full laser alig and everything i recon.
is there anything else i can check for when jacking the car up??

as above, mine wasnt in properly and sounded like grinding, it had movement.

Not too easy a job but if you have a good mechanical knowledge you will manage

I think I've got the same issue.

Does it only do it when cornering hard?

Mine kind of sounds like the metal brake shield is touching the brake disc. A metal on metal scraping sound.
