I do fancy these lights fella, ive fallen foul of bad lights before (my lexus lights r still 4 sale).

Who has exactly spoken to this German fella ? Wonder what his thoughts are for getting a quantity of lights over to here.

empi5/phil.... aebli never got a reply to his email to raid re the lights!

and that was sent in german! :(

RAID Uk's site is live now - www.ramair-filters.com

I've just this minute reserved one of 4 sets that are coming to the uk on Nov 8th, cost me a very reasonable £170. If you hurry you may also be able to reserve a set. [B)]

They're made in Germany, so i expect the quality to be good. Also, i've spoken to the chaps on the phone about them, and the seems like a really conciencious bunch, so if there are any problems, i'm sure they'll be happy to help.

That's not right, I got a answer.. but only an short guide for the web-shop (as you can see above in my "guide"). But I had no answer regarding shipping cost. So: I can start a new request. Please make me a list of questions (shippiing, quality regarding water-resistance etc.) and I will send them to raid today.

OH, sorry, saw just in this minute that "danthemanwhocan" has posted this news about raid in UK.

just out of curiosity, but how the feck do you get the rear lights off? I had a look today but it looks like I have to pull back the whole plastic panel in the boot to take the outside rear lights off the car?

i dont know i havnt looked yet, but normally u take the light cover plastic bit off and then take the bulb holder with all the bulbs on out and then u get access to the bolts/nuts that hold the lights in.

well thats the normal way!

hope this helps :)

it is quite easy after a while, but beleive me , you think its a bitch.

Just pop the plastic cover off, unclip the housing that the light bulbs sit in, to reveal 3 screws. Its as simple as just unscrewing the screws. But heres the bitch part. If you drop a screw your in trouble, cause it goes into the plastic of the boot lid.

My tip: Shove as much tea towel down into the gap to catch the screw , and also have one of those magnetic screw drivers, just in case the screws miss your safety device.

Result!

u beauty!

just spoke to david at raid uk and he recalled speaking to you dan, i told him my situation, and i just wanted to know if i was one of the lucky 4 who got the lights!

he said that wen he spoke to u he had 4 left or sumic, but they are actually having 28 sets being brought into the uk on the 8th of November.

he said that if i ordered it correctly through the basket procedure on their site then i should be fine, but he said he will confirm my booking on monday via email!

so im well chuffed! (fingers crossed still tho!)

oh yea, he also said that they will be getting in more lights after christmas and also... THEY ARE E MARKED!

lastly, i said id post on here... their offical web site is... http://www.raidhp.co.uk/ (not ram air)... he wanted to point that out! ;)

james :)

Has anyone else got hold of these lights yet??

Have put in 2 orders on their web site but heard nowt back to say that my order is to be processed???

Well, they've finally arrived after over 3 months waiting. They look pretty damn sweet. However, went to fit them this morning and came across a small problem....

How the fook do you get to remove the bolt on the far side of the light cluster. Its in an impossibly small space, and not even my tiny socket set could get to it. Has any one any tips for removing the little sod?

Quality of tyhe lights seems top, £157 inc delivery, apparently i'm the first in the country to have them :D

Just got to fit them now! Will post pics soon...

I have those ones. Bit different to the red ones, which are identical to the OE ones, only with LEDS for the brake and rear lights.
