Hi guys,
I own a 2021 model vehicle with the DLAA engine code (110ps 200nm) and it has a DELPHI brand ECU, so it is impossible to do ECU tuning.
Apart from that, what ideas do you have to increase the performance?
- I am planning to replace the turbo inlet and dumpvalve hoses with Forge brand silicone hoses in the future.
- What kind of add-ons can be made to reduce the intake air temperature? It has a very small intercooler.

Have you tried a tuning box ? Along with the throttle pedal box it does improve the drive a lot.My old 71 plate 1.0tsi 110 was as flat as anything to drive . Bluespark or racechip tuning boxes can bring it up to around 130bhp and combined with a pedal box much much better. My new 2025 1.0 tsi 115 is much better than the 110 to drive so much so I’m not adding anything to it at the moment.

I have not tried this type of device before and unfortunately it is not easy to find in my country. If I get a chance, I am thinking of trying a racechip for a while, thank you. I see and feel in the log records that this engine has much more potential within safe limits, and I feel it when using it.

Two simple methods I have done, is use 99 ron fuel and add in a free flow airbox filter either Pipercross or K&N. Adds a few Bhp and sharper response.

Unfortunately, we even have difficulty finding 95RON gasoline in our country. 😅 I am thinking of purchasing ethanol and adding it in the amount of E10. You are also right about the air filter. A friend of mine uses Pipercross and has not had any problems for 20,000 km.
