did you see the reserve not met ?:rolleyes:

I know its cos i didnt bid enough... Damn!

The stupid thing about the whole ebay auction is... and subsequently anyone that buys anything like that.. why, if its so easy to get the car changed to a Cupra R does the owner not do that... because obviously its worth considerably more with that minor detail resolved...

I'm intrigued as to why you asked? I've seen lots of people trying to fob Cupras off as R's especially on fleabay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/03-SEAT-LEON-...14&_trkparms=72:1301|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318 being a good example of what i would consider to be fooking dodgy... Recorded as an s in the logbook but really a cupra R....

There's a supposed 'R' on Ebay at the moment stating that it's recorded as a Leon S on the V5. There was no mention in the advert about it being a built Leon S though. Think it was the above link but he has now ended the auction. I'd stay well away from it anyhow.

Sounds more like a stolen Cupra R being sold on a legitimate Leon S log book after having its chassis No etc changed to match the Leon S. Seems like a lot of trouble to go to to change the bodywork, engine, gearbox, running gear, interior, dashboard etc etc etc and then to make the advert sound like its a cupra R rather than a modified Leon S. Surely cheaper to rebuild the crashed cupra R and sell on as a Cat D?

Avoid like the plague!!!!
