How long have you owned your Mk2??

Reading the 'you know you've got a Mk2 Ibiza when' thread made me think despite all those characteristics, we still love our Mk2s. So, who has owned a Mk2 for the longest? I bought L930JCF ten years ago from Southern Garages Seat in Camberley, and 73,000 of my miles later and the odometer on 104,000 she is still going strong.

So how long have you owned your Mk2 for?

Iv had mine for just about a year now and getting to the stage where im looking at a mk3 or a leon!! Iv falling in love with seats and wanna stick with them just longing for some more power now!!!

Had my first 1.4 ibiza salsa for a 14 months. Then bought a my cupra 8v and have had that for 18 months.

I've had my 1.4 beeza for 16months. And now I've got the valver. Had it for 6 months and planning on keeping it another 2 years (till I'm 21) and then get something RWD

Only had mine for about 7 months, bought is a stop gap car but growing to depend on it like an old friend!

I only use it at weekends as I've got company motors, its prob not worth selling as i'd probably get less than 2k, My nephew turns 17 shortly and he may be inheriting it as his 1st car, 3.2k insurance for him lol!

bought my red mk2 in may 2005, and sold it in January 2007 to another forum member on here.

bought my 8v cupra on the 23/02/07 and plan on keeping it a wee while, but that can change any time depending what goes wrong with the car lol.

love the mk2 tho, still looks so much better than any corsa or saxo that young guys at 19 drive

that was august 04 to december 04

got my current 1.4 mk2 in jan 05 and done 23k now and its doing me well, but i want something with more power and cheaper to run as i am looking at a mortgage this year. so looking at an mk4 tdi 130 as a replacement

I've had my current Ibiza Cupra Sport for nearly 4years. The longest time I've owned a car, and my fourth Ibiza!
Bought it in May 2003 on 64500miles, it's now on 72000miles... Makes a great weekend/fun car.

Previously had a T-reg 1.4'S', which I owned from new for 2-1/2years.

stands me in far to much money but i've got even bigger plans for it so it's not going anywhere

Cheers - was taken at Bedford Autodrome a couple of years ago now. Had some Neuspeed ARBs fitted since then so I should be having a few less '3 wheel' moments now.

I bought my 1.4 in Oct 2005 as my first car and completly fell in love with it.

And I bought my 2.0l in oct 2006 - I still have both of them. Not had either for that long but I can't bare to part with the first one lol.. sad I know.

It's mad reading all those things that go wrong and all the little probs in that other thread yet we still go on about how much we love them. If a person that was looking into buying one read that I sure they would be really put off.
