cheers for that mike m8 il definately research more before i start spendin. how long have u had yours fitted??

Since about April '09. They will wear the dampers out quicker than standard sprinsg allegedly. if you have a 1.2, I would suggest getting a spring and damper set for a fixed drop or a set of coilovers for a bit of adjustability!

45mm on just springs mate:

Springs are Pi. Cost me around £80 delivered I think. They are a little bumpy, althogh standard shocks don't help...

There is supersport kit on the on the site sponsers (Dp maybe) here, 50mm front and back with shocks for £180.

Thats very cheap!
I like the sound of them! I aren't sure if to go for springs or coilovers!

I like the price of the springs. But coilovers seem more practical. I can drop it 50mm front and back in the summer and then raise it to say 30mm in the summer (for snow etc). But are coilovers worth that extra?

Have you had any issues with the drop?

My guess is that one you have fitted the coilies it is very rare you will alter them? (could be wrong) I know if I had some, they would just be at the lowest setting :D

The only issue I have had (any many many others also) is that when you lower the the car, you alter the camber, thus making the tyres wear on the inside. Now I didn;t know about this before I lowered the car, would I still have lowered the car if I knew, yeh probably :)

Only other problem is that my girlfriend thinks i'm an idiot when "it makes no difference to how it looks and it's bumpy" Girls eh ;)
