104000k or there abouts.
And all of the issues I will list below are only going to annoy newbs who try to search the forum as these come up at least once a day...
1. bank 1 Running lean, lambda issues, engine management light on all the time. Seat dealer replaced the lambda (previous owner) light came back same issue, discovered Seat had wrapped the lambda wires round the pipe and it kept pulling loose (waste of time mechanics)
2. Misfire - coil packs failure (about 95K) number 3 went, replaced all 4 and car was fantastic following that, i actually found that replacing the coil packs made the car generally run better all round (now have three spares in the boot) - if you have a coil pack go buy all 4 replacements at once, my dealer gave me nearly £30 discount on all 4.
3. wet shoes - the rear doors seem to hold water around the door seals and this like to piss out when you open the rear doors after rain.
4. Clutch - pedal went (the stupid plastic bit for all those who have been there) and as this went it took out the actuator rod on the master cylinder and I had to replace that too
5. Rear wiper squirter - would give description but this problem but it really pissed me off, ruined my laptop and all the clothes I had packed for a week away at work!
6. Indicator stalk - at least I think it is, indicators have packed up all but first flash, new stalk coming from Awesome soon, will follow with details of replacement if required
7. Sporadic changes to alarm system - battery has gone flat a couple of times and every time the alarm system changes its ideas. I am now in the situation where the car locks itself after 30 seconds of being unlocked, then sets off the alarm! Really annoying on days when its raining and I want a fag at work!
8. ripped rear seat - had the rear seats down for a few days while moving house, when I put the seats back up one was torn right open. I had removed the bench part so it couldnt have rubbed on anything, maybe it was just bad luck.

But, this has really been it, everything else with this car has been fu**ing superb the whole time! Must admit though the heated mirrors are a bit rubbish. But I would definitely go Seat again (other than the fact that its impossible get a sensible ebay search for Seat seats)

Got my LCR in March 08 with 45k miles on and currently at 73k.
28K in just over a year is to much....

Ah but atleast uv enjoyed ur 28K miles. Iv done 10000 in the last year but 7k of them was in a 1.0L N Reg Polo with no power stearing!

The joys of selling ur car and thinkin itl not take long to find a decent LCR. Oh how I was wrong!

Very true although I have been through 2 MAF's, 2 N75's, a Head Gasket & a Turbo in that time. Still smiling though... ;)

Now done 41,000 on a 2004 plate leon cupra r, put up a post a couple of pages ago saying nothing has really gone wrong with the car. The other day the digital display for the climate control has packed up, most of the digits have disappeared. Bad news is the stealers want 300 notes for a new one, dont think i will bother somehow:cry:

 That must have been one abused turbo to need replacing @ 16k miles!!

Sadly not, 1 previous owner from new, a retired gentleman, car never driven in the wet for 4 years, totally original and as new, not even been over 70MPH in its life. I bought it, threw it on the M6, put my foot down and I think the car didn't know what the hell was happening, scared it to the point that the pin that opens and closes the wastegate bent and so the gate stuck open, resulting in no boost.

Maybe had it have been used properly it would have been ok?

My 2000 1.6 8v has 90000miles and my 2004 1.8t 4wd has 88000miles.
If i leave out track day repairs, only normal 10k intervals are needed.

mines a 2001 with 87K on the clock, had the car for two years now clocking up 20k in the process.

On the whole the car has been bulletproof (touchwood), just minor problems such as MAF, O2 sensor, couple of dodgy coils and a few small MOT fixes.

Has recently been serviced and remapped, next up is the costly cambelt
