As per title really.... When I bought my lcr it had 4 new tyres on but they are all very cheep low end tyres from a make ive never heard of!! Since the rain has started I have next 2 ZERO grip in the wet at both front and back end. How much of a differance will top end tyres make and is it worth the £££'s to change them as the ones on now are pritty much brand new!
I got a set of 4 wen i went to quik fit. Midrange tyre called marigoni. They are ok. Obviously ur not gonna get a tyre that wont spin in the wet. Even with the standard power of the lcr and lc's. They cost me 400quid for all 4 fitted

Marigoni pmsl WTF are them???
1 up from nankang?
Mines mapped and i really put the Avon zz3 i got with my new wheels recently, through their paces, and boy do they inspire a lot of confidence.
Spinning wheels, i was really hard pushed to get mine to loose grip, only being a nutter would have probably managed or using marigolds for tyres
For that £400 you could have got some decent tyres.

Agreed. Not sure where people get this from.Nonsense. Toyo T1-Rs are excellent in the wet.

I'll leave the toyos till summer then! any other mid range ideas??? all welcome then I can go and do a bit of homework on them![]()
