I was told your service intervals are done by age, regardless of mileage. So you should be getting the 5 year, 50K service. As some of the parts are only recommended to last that long etc..
I got a 20K service done recently but the car had only covered 7500 miles in 2 years.
It might be more for the 50K even though it's classed as an intermediate.
My car was serviced when I bought it (24,500 miles) but the next service is at 30,000 miles... is it worth getting it serviced again at 30,000 miles or will people accept that the 30,000 mile service was done at 24,500 miles?
Standard service is every 10k. 40k and 60k are big ones.
Nabraxas - I'd get the oil changed at 30k. It won't hurt. Although you could get the standard done and simply carry on every 10k afterwards.
Stanley - A 30k service should be just be the same as a standard 10k I think - so about £220. I could be wrong here, but doesn't the manual say 60k OR every 5 years the cam belt needs checking/doing? If you check your manual it'll give you the details in there.
