Had to do mine today.

Last year - £959 for 10 months on Elephants "Booster Policy"
Worked out at £95 a month or £18.44 a week.

This year - £886 for 12 months with Elephant
Equating to £73.83 a month or £17.03 a week.

If id shopped around a bit more i think i could have possibly got it for around £810, these ones wanted monthly installments mind which i didn't want to do.

BTW im 20, licence for 3 years, NCB 1 year, 3 additional drivers, 14,000 miles, personal & business use etc etc...

25 yrs old, 3 yrs clean license, 3 yrs NCB car, 8 yrs NCB motorcycle fully comp at £899 (was actually the cheapest quote I got, even cheaper than tpft!)

Live in part of Belfast that's currently being carjacked beyond belief so not expecting it to go down!

Mine was under £300 - one advantage of getting old! :p At renewal back in September it worked out about the same as the previous year for my Corsa. I've been driving for 22 years this year.

Mines 750ish 10month elephant policy. 21, 3yr ncb, 4 years driving. Pretty poor Postcode.

Mines was £270 with Tesco bank insurance. But i AM old.
This quote was done properly, with the correct car, not just the reg plate.

£144 for a year with protected NCB and only £150 excess. Guess the area is probably low risk. Now guess how many years experience.
I'm not telling!:)

£750ish iirc, fully comp, 26yom, 2yrs NCB.
It was more expensive to have my mum on as a named driver which i thought was weird

£1300, 19 y/o, 2 year license, 1year NCB, 3 points

Looking around £2500 for my renewal due to a write off

1.4 sport

My insurance is a bit odd, my renewal last month for my TSI FR was £670. When I tried from fresh with the same broker it was £1300, so not exactly sure where they got the figures from.

I'm 23 with 3 NCB and driving, so its a very good price!!

Directline renewal was £550 from £575. I checked directline website which came to £240 but then added a few extras so £350. FR TSI

24 years, 5 years NCB, multi car discount, 20% off and mother as named driver.

Renewal price is almost always hgher than for a new policy bought on-line from the same company or from another company. They hope that inertia will prevent people from changing company.

I've often found that calling them back with some new quotes from elsewhere will result in them dropping the renewal price. That can save alot of bother but it didn't work this time so I went elsewhere.

last year i paid £900 fc with directline, renewal they wanted a £1000 off me so i got a quote from aviva & they quoted me £723 fc i phoned directline up to see if they could match it but they couldn't so i'm now with aviva paying £723 on my 11plate ibiza sportrider sc 1.4 16v i'm 22yrs old had my licence for five years with 4yrs no claims.
