Found some info that the tt 225 holds 7 litres in total, I presume the lcr would be the same, so the minimum antifreeze to put in after a water flush would be 3.5 litres!

how to empty the coolant fully on my lcr?

Hi,
I need to replace the wax thermostat, but I don’t know what coolant is already in the car as I bought it second hand.
Is there a way to find out, or should I just flush it all out and then start again with G12.
I know it’s had some work done before on the cooling, so it must have been re-filled in the past, but I don’t know what coolant they used.

Flush it out bud and replace it with the proper stuff at a 50/50 ratio it's too cheap to muck around with anything else!
