How to enable confirmation beep when locking/unlocking **GUIDE** with Video

This is a guide on how to enable confirmation beep when locking/unlocking using VCDS.

You need to check "bit1 & bit4" to enable the beep when locking and the beep when unlocking. My version didn't have the labels like shown above, so I just enabled those two bits and hoped for the best and it worked.

So to get to here you need to press "Select Control Model" on the home page

then press the Central Electronics Module -09

then Coding -07

then Long Coding Helper and ok the error that comes up.

Navigate to Component: BCM PQ25 on the drop down box

The go to Byte 5 and tick bit 1 & 4

Save the new coding and that's all

i did it to my car but it isn't reacting as yours......its not making this beep.....it uses the horn like this:
