Just had the motor cleaned and the red paint is really showing up residue from the arorementioned detritus :censored:

How can I get this off? What products do you guys use?

Cheers Cupra. Chupra.

elbow greese ;) either that or a bug spot remover from halfrauds usually about £5-8

Pffffff ure gonna find it hard tbh, try a little bit of polish if not go for t-cut, but even that dont budge it at times.... Best bet is machine polish that should do it somthing slightly abrasive. Its why it should be wiped of asap.

Loose. Will have to start rolling with some wet wipes to get that ish off pronto.

if the bird crap's been left on for any length if time you'll be needing a good machine polish at least or respray at worst as it eats into the paint.
The bugs want snowfoaming ideally but a microfibre cloth soaked in car shampoo and warm water left on them for a while should soften them up enough to budge

Go to tesco and get some all purpose cleaner called daisy( it's cheap)

Dilute it half and half with water and spray it all over your car before you wash it and leave it for 20 mins.

When your washing the car jut go over the areas very well and it will come off.

Once the car is washed and dried wax the car and next time the job will be easier

Do not use t-cut lol that's the worst advice ever! It will damage the paint.

T-cut isnt that bad why so against it? Aslong as u dont sit there with it till it pulls the paint off ure ok. Bit of polish after its ok. It aint paint stripper stop hating lol.

After a good day out on the bike it is usually covered in bugs & flies.

all I do is place wet newspaper on the bike and leave it for 15 mins.

Then scoop off the wet newspaper and the bugs & flies come with it.

For the bird poo i'd say ^^ is the best way, i soaked tissue left it on top of thhe bird poo and then just wipes away easy!

Yea but i think hes left with the stain, to remove bird **** i use wet tissue and it falls off after 3 mins or so

I might be wrong but i think thats his prob its stained his paintwork and eaten into it.

Bird etching most probably, a polish by hand may remove it. I used Menzerna 203s by hand in the past on etchings and that has done the job but if its particularly bad you may need a machine... worst resort wet sanding :( It is important to get it off asap. But a decent polish by hand on a german applicator pad (hard side) should do the job.

But to remove bird crap I use a soft microfibre with qd or kitchen roll soaked in hot water... leave that on it for a few mins to soften it up then wipe off gently with a soft cloth.

Yea forgot about wet paper but u need to know what ure doing with it tbh lol, other wise ull scratch **** out of it.

Seen few ppl do it before, never looked the same lol.

Wet paper is last resort tbh, just place it on and dont rub it at all costs. Plush mf and some qd ftw though  Finished off all the other wheels and arches now mate, finally. My back is so painful now I feel about 90! lol. Cracked open a few ciders though so that kinda helps haha.

Haha nice get some pics up, i came out to mine this morning sun blazing and swirl marks all on the bonnet!!! Not happy chappy tbh the are so so faint but plenty and not in a circular motion. Really suprised as i used to bucket method and i have a new plush towl. I think it may be my wash mit but im gutted it was all nice and swirl free couple weeks ago. Annoys the hell out of me.

Might rewash and polish it tomoz just to feel little better. Need a new washmit tho and dont think halfords sell decent ones do they? Ive got a megs atm.

Do you pat dry with your towel mate?? Ermm not sure, halfords do sell some I think not sure if there any good though, I use a sheepskin wash pad which is good. My car is swirl free at the moment apart from a minor patch on the bonnet which Ill correct soon :) hate swirls though lol need to do some wet sanding on my dads car sometime though as he wants his sorted haha.
